2022 SHINE ACADEMIA ORIENTATION DAY
On Saturday, 26 February 2022, SHINE Academia welcomed over 100 learners and Parents to their Orientation Day. With great anticipation and excitement in the air, kicking off the academic year with motivation and encouragement. SHINE ACADEMIA is a School of Academic Excellence and is looking forward to supporting learners in their future academic endeavours throughout 2022. Our children deserve no less.

2023 SHINE ACADEMIA ORIENATION DAY
On 25 February 2023, SHINE ACADEMIA welcomed the new Grade 11 & 12 learners, parents and stakeholders to the official start of the SHINE ACADEMIA Academic year.
2023 CAREER DAY
On 22 April 2023, SHINE ACADEMIA held their annual Career Workshop for Grade 11 & 12 learners.
Student Recruitment officers from the University of Cape Town, Stellenbosch University, University of the Western Cape & Cape Peninsula University of Technology, addressed our learners and provided the necessary guidance for all their career choices.
A Career Counsellor from Future Sketch, also spoke to the learners and provided much needed methods to manage anxiety and stress.
Representatives from SAICA and Deloitte ended off a wonderful Career Workshop day of information sharing.

On 17 June 2023, SHINE ACADEMIA’S Grade 12 Learners experienced a special day in their lives. 120 Learners had the opportunity to write their National Benchmark Tests at Groote Schuur High School administered by the UCT NBT Department.

On 21 October 2023, SHINE ACADEMIA awarded our learners for their hard work and for producing excellent results. We also awarded and thanked our Parents, Educators, Directors and all Stakeholders for a successful 2023.

On 17 February 2024, SHINE ACADEMIA welcomed the new Grade 11 & 12 learners, parents and stakeholders to the official start of the SHINE ACADEMIA Academic year.
2024 CAREER DAY
On 13 April 2024, SHINE ACADEMIA held their annual Career Day for Grade 11 & 12 learners.

On 8 June 2024, SHINE ACADEMIA’S Grade 12 Learners experienced a special day in their lives. 65 Learners had the opportunity to write their National Benchmark Tests at Groote Schuur High School administered by the UCT NBT Department.

On 18-22 June 2024, SHINE ACADEMIA had their annual Winter School week and their First Semester Awards ceremony.
Learners were adequately prepared for Mock & Final Exams and were issued EXAM PREPARATION PACK compiled by our educators for EVERY SUBJECT.
They were REVISING PAST EXAM PAPERS TO PREPARE LEARNERS THOROUGHLY to assist them in the topics/questions they were battling with and help them to PRODUCE GOOD RESULTS.
Learners did REVISION & CONSOLIDATION to IMPROVE their competence and EXAM SKILLS (GET THEM EXAM READY) so that they will DO WELL in their Final Exams.

On 11 October 2025, SHINE ACADEMIA proudly hosted its annual Graduation Ceremony at the prestigious CTICC Auditorium 2, where we celebrated the remarkable achievements of our 2025 SHINE ACADEMIA graduates.
We were honoured to welcome distinguished guests who played an essential role in making this event memorable:

The event brought together Principals, parents, and learners from various schools across the Western Cape, all united in celebrating the dedication, hard work, and academic excellence displayed by our graduates. Key highlights of the ceremony included the recognition of Top Achievers in subjects such as Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, English HL, and Afrikaans FAL, as well as awards for those who have shown exceptional improvement throughout the year.
The collective efforts and growth of these learners are a true testament to the power of education and the bright futures that lie ahead for each one of them.
We extend our congratulations to all our graduates and look forward to seeing their continued success.
